I am praying with all my heart that the Manoppello Shrine will be "one of the principal destinations for the upcoming Holy Year of Mercy. It would certainly be very fitting in order to help the faithful to "help rediscover the merciful Face of the Father," and “especially at a moment full of great hopes and signs of contradiction, is to introduce everyone to the great mystery of God’s mercy by contemplation of the Face of Christ” as Pope Francis has said.
